Can't reach the server

• 100.x address or .ts.net name: open the Tailscale app on your phone and make sure it is connected, signed in to the same account as the server.
• 192.168.x.x address: join the same Wi-Fi, and allow Local Network for v-Shell in iOS Settings.
• Mac: System Settings > General > Sharing > Remote Login must be on.

Password rejected

Use the user name and password you log in to that computer with. On a Mac, that is your Mac account, not your Apple ID.

Server doesn't allow passwords

Turn on "My server doesn't allow passwords", copy the key shown, add it to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys on the server from a computer that can already log in, then tap Connect.

Sessions end when I lock my phone

Install tmux on the server (brew install tmux or sudo apt install tmux) and keep "Keep sessions alive" on for that server.

"Server identity changed"

If you rebuilt the server, open the server's settings in v-Shell and tap "Forget server identity". If you didn't, don't connect: someone may be intercepting the connection.

Restore Pro on a new device

Settings > Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple ID.
